The cozy village Vessem, with its many cafés and restaurants, is namely in the hard of the Natural Park the Brabantse Kempen which extends across the Belgian border. Here you can enjoy hiking and cycling through a landscape view characterized by meadows, vast forests and fens.
There are plenty of day trips to take. Visit safari park "the Beekse Bergen" (20 minutes), amusement park "De Efteling" (40 minutes) or go for a swim at the beach in Eersel (10 minutes).
